Pet Photography Session

The rate for a one to two hour photography session, on location, is £35.00 and a maximum of two pets can be photographed during this time.  For each extra pet being photographed add an extra £10.00 per half hour on top of the initial fee.  

This rate also includes travel to and from your location, within the Glasgow and Lanarkshire area.  Travel expenses are charged at £0.40 per mile out with this zone.

Please ask regarding dog shows - the session fee may be waved (depending on numbers)


Digital Manipulation, Reprint & Framing Service

I edit, touch up, crop, resize and backup all images taken and then send the selected images chosen by you, to a professional quality Lab. which provides archival quality printing and framing services.  This process can take time and is included in the session fee above.  Prints selected are priced separately - see 'prices' section. 


Gift Vouchers

Gift Vouchers make an excellent idea for a Christmas or Birthday present for an animal lover or alternatively, you can have your pet photographed and present a framed picture as a gift - either way, it will be a treasured and much appreciated gift. Please see under 'prices' for more details.  


Client Proofing

You and your friends will get the opportunity to view approximately twelve or more images (free of charge) on your own private online album, which will be password protected, for a limited period of three months (extended periods can be arranged at a small fee).  You can order reprints and send images to your friends by email.  Please note that all computer monitors vary and the images may look different on each screen - they are of low resolution and untouched at this point.  Final images chosen will be corrected and professionaly presented - they can also be changed to black & white or sepia if you prefer.  The online album will be ready to view within approximately two to three days of the photography session taking place. 

A select few images may also be used for personal promotion and may also be displayed on the website front page and gallery - if you would prefer them not to be used, please let me know.


On location

Location photography can take place in your home; garden; pet's favourite walking area, or somewhere else and usually has a less formal appearance. You can choose where suits, but remember to add the travel expenses as above.  A 'studio look' can be achieved  on location if a suitable background is selected, which can create a striking visual effect.  Just give me an idea of the kind of effect or look that you would prefer in your final image.  I normally take a range of shots, including close-ups and wide-angled shots to cover all scenarios. 

Outdoor photography is subject to change due to adverse weather conditions or unforseen circumstances, but alternative dates and times can be arranged to suit. On occasions it may also be necessary to shoot a second session in order to get a suitable selection of images to choose from - in this instance only the one session fee would be charged.

It is a good idea to walk your dog prior to a location session and to also choose a place with as few distractions as possible.

For locations requested further afield, ie. outhwith the Central Belt of Scotland - please contact me as this may incur extra costs for subsistence & travel arrangements etc.


Commercial Photography

Please contact me with your request and a quote may be given.
Please note that commercial photography also includes the use of images taken  -  being required for other purposes, such as  'clients & affiliated  websites'. (Please see under 'prices' section for low resolution, watermarked images which are required for website use) 


Ordering & Payment

The session fee is due at time of booking - this can be payed on the session day. 

To order reprints, framed prints or gift vouchers, simply send your order along with your personal contact details, using an order sheet, which I can provide or send me an email with the relevant details below: 

• Name, address, phone number, email address
• Print reference numbers
• Size (in inches) and quantity of each print selected
• For reprints sized 6x4 up to 12x8 - state whether you wish them to be mounted or not.
• Finish (eg lustre / gloss / metalic / laminated etc.) usual finish is lustre
• Colour / black & white / sepia / blue toned
• If framed print is chosen - state frame type, size, colour, mount preference ie single or double & colours, etc. (print is included in the frame price)
